LOL of course canadians buy tickets in Buffalo.
Buffalo is directly across the border.
That doesn't mean that the team is in trouble.
Just the opposite, they have a strong fanbase in Buffalo AND are in very close proximity to canada and that ADDS to the fanbase.
Buffalo is one of the strongest location in the league and is among the last teams in any trouble.
Huge tv ratings in Buffalo
HSBC always sellout of very very near sellout.
That team is going nowhere.
Hamiliton has zero possibility of a Sabres move across the border.
The Buffalo Bills might be a different story because of the huge profit
that would come from a move to Toronto.
But that won't happen while Wilson is alive.
I'm not sure where all this Hamilton business started (probably hamilton and hamilton only) but I would think the league would be more inclined to place a second team in Toronto where it would realize far far greater profit.
The true money that would be coming into Hamilton would come from Toronto, so it's only logic to put a second team there to begin with if the NHL were to expand with another team in ontario.
On it's own Hamilton is a tiny market.
