Congrats to the Lightning, the agonizing defeat of last year is no more. The Bolts were struggling early on this season too, now they will raise the Cup.
Playoffs were great. Great job with the bubble. Thanks to the players for their sacrifices.
This Cup presentation sucks. They needed to pipe in the booing for Bettman. It is a long lived tradition!
YES! Things went "almost perfect" with the bubble. With only about 2 months before the tentative start of the 2020-2021 season, some new challenges are ahead.
The biggest being allowing fans at games and the Canadian Gov. allowing teams to travel back and forth across the border. There is a possibility Canadian teams may have to play their home games in the states for some or all of next season. Same applies to the lower leagues as well.
I'd put it at almost 3 months. Bettman says he wants to play a full 82 game schedule but doesn't want to start the new year until the calendar flips to 2021.

Bettman actually wants a Dec 1 start but is doubtful of that due to the Canadian border issue. Yes he wants an 82 game schedule, but does not want to play into the summer. Many challenges ahead.

Aren't they targeting New Year's Day now?
