Another tainted season...

Just wish they'd play some games so that the restaurants can profit. But even then, if attendance falters in many markets, it will sting not just for these recent games lost, but the next 5 yeas or more!

It is over for me.

I am sick of hockey.

Sick of being disappointed.

As big of a fan that I am I don't give a damn anymore.

No doubt I will be interested again when they start back up but I'm not losing sleep over it.

I do feel bad for the all the people that have taken a big hit financially because of this. And obviously I am not talking about the players/owners.

They can start up in mid January and still play a 50 game season.

Why am I losing hope that this will be resolved?

How can they throw another season away...?

Well I've lost hope that the NHL is coming back this year. Pity too because the Wild actually had a great offseason. And I live in Georgia so I can't watch my beloved Gophers. I'm resigned to listening to their online radio broadcasts.

I guess the owners aint feeling the financial pinch at this point.
I can see where the players are a bit reluctant to cave on this as after giving much concessions in the last lockout are now being asked to give up even more concessions again while the owners make billions in profits.and although making the amount of money they (the players) do for playing hockey makes me think a whole lot of money fer playing hockey is better than no money the quality of the game/players has to be questioned if the players are going to end up making minimum wage to play hockey.
