Yes, yes, yes. I'm so glad to see the last of those freakin Bruins for the year. If I had to watch that Chara cross check one more player I was going to get my 12 ga. out and blow a hole in my TV.
Exciting to see the newn the west, but I do worry about TV ratings. Some predict those series to be snoozefests, but how can one not be intrigued by all of their goalies.
LA and Phoenix (this time of year] are late, late start times. Not good to have two teams starting so late in the second round. Only in the finals would they be forced to start for 8 pm est?

Late for whom?
Every year you have teams on EST playing each other .... those are very early start times this time of year
Also, you have to keep in mind that Phx is starting their series at home while LA is going to St. Louis - so they really won't have many (if any) games that they are on the same time zone ......... not to mention you can just shift days as well
Last year Vancouver & SJ hosted 2nd round playoff series and it wasn't an issue, despite both being on PST and having the game alignment match a little bit more

That makes no sense ... I see the worthless cheap shot you are trying to throw out, but to say the fans don't care isn't exactly a well thought out statement
Of course the fans of the team care .... i know the fans here in phoenix care greatly ... this is the 1st time the team has made it out of the 1st round since they've been here ....... the 1st time in about 25 years
Throw in the continued uncertainty of ownership and that this may be the last hurrah - the fans are grabbing onto this fully
They even were greated at the airport coming back from Chicago ........ this is for advancing 1 round

You misunderstand, because I was not making a "cheap shot" , I was responding to a poster who hinted that the TV ratings may not be as high because LA and Phoenix are in the Pacific time zone. Fans of those teams probably don't care about the ratings; all they care about is that their teams have moved on.
Make sense now? Sorry I had to spell it out for you.
that I absolutely agree with and again sorry that I misread the context
Not a problem! Context often gets lost in the quote-respond shuffle.
