The Flyers are doomed. Their offense is all in a dither, and they show no signs of figuring out how to get the puck anywhere near the Devils' net.

Bryzgalov's been playing very well against the Devils, alas with no offense to back him up.

As I posted in the St. Louis forum...

The Kings outplayed the Blues in almost every facet of the game. As I predicted, it was a matter of finding a way to beat Jonathan Quick and keeping their cool when under pressure. They really did neither as Quick was outstanding and the Blues took some bad penalties at inopportune times even by their veterans. The Kings pretty well stifled the Blues with aggressive forechecking keeping the Blues throttled. If the Blues would have played like they did in the 2nd period of game 4, the Blues might have had a chance. Unfortunately they didn't. Hats off to the Kings who look like a very good team that will give Phoenix (more than likely their next opponent) more than they can handle.

My prediction for the Western Conference Finals: Kings win 4 games to 2 against Phoenix.

Way to go Devils, came back from a 2-0 deficit and then it was game over. . .glad to see the Flyers lose, hopefully, Giroux will be suspended for Game5. Rangers need to step it up a notch tonite.

This must be heartbreaking for the Caps! A 3OT loss, and then this tonight.

But who really cares. I hope all three remaining series' go to seven games. It's all good. The Kings will be well rested for their competition.

Needless to say I'm upset at the Caps loss tonight but a player needs to control his stick at all times and Ward became a huge goat tonight. Oh well, on to game 6.

Can the Coyotes advance tonight? Won't be easy.

From Game 7 Hero to Game 5 Zero just like that. Fortunately, he has at least one more game to return to hero status. He's a good player, and the Caps are playing with heart. Holtby just can't do everything. I think the Caps will force a Game 7.

I can't believe they suspended Giroux. The poor Flyers are screwed. If Zubrus was injured badly and was out the rest of the game, I could understand. I think the announcer said the Devils haven't played this aggressively in 17 years. How many years was I thinking "just TRY it" and now finally....

This is a positive development. The NHL finally suspends a star player in the playoffs! (I keep thinking of Malkin in 2009 )
