No more undefeateds, Caps finally lost their first last night 2-1 in Edmonton. Khabibulin played very well in goal for the Oilers who got 2 PP goals.

Default Uninspired Caps lose to Canucks 7-4

Caps didn't show up for this one despite 2 goals from Ovechkin and a penalty shot from Mike Knuble.

Speaking of penalty shots.

Eric Staal is god-awful at them, same with breakaways and shoot-out attempts, he was once pretty goof at them when Laviolette was the coach. Now Brandon Sutter on the other hand, that kid can finish.

Been away for a few days but was able to catch Caps-Canes last night (Sorry Canes). Good effort put in by 3rd and 4th liners last night.

All good bro.

When Eric Staal is paired with Chad LaRose and Jiri Tlusty, things are not going to go well.

And it bears repeating, it's time to end the Paul Maurice era in Raleigh.

You know what they say about karma

Play last night against Isles and Vokoun gives up 3 goals that were easily saveable and Caps lose 5-3.

If the Caps play like they did last night against the Stars, then Boudreau will be fighting Maurice for the door

My Bruins have caught fire winning 6 in a row after there sluggish start. and doing it with all four lines.

I think losing both ends of the home and home vs Montreal wole them up.
