I had a friend who had the fashion plates, I loved those. Never was lucky enough to own a set though.

Fashion Vintage Plates TOMY 1978 Art Designer BONUS - eBay (item 250219535863 end time Mar-02-08 17:10:25 PST) (broken link)

That is the only place I found a picture of them. You could move pieces around to create different outfits, then your rubbed your colored pencils on them to make the imprint on your paper.

I don't remember those at all. But I wished I would have had it. It looks like it would have been a lot of fun.

OMG how could I forget - I got that toy for my birthday the year it came out. It was great fun sifting through the differents "parts" and as an added bonus, the reverse side had different patterns that you could color the clothes parts in with. After you were done playing, all the parts stacked back in and snapped shut so you didn't really have to worry about losing anything.

I wonder what ever happened to mine....

Default light activated

Does anyone remember a triceretops monster that walked and was "stopped" by a light that a man held as a weapon? I remember getting it for Christmas in the late 70's. It seems it did not work for long but, I have fond memories of it. Also, I had a Jaws game where you "fished" out tires, and other items from the mouth of the shark before it closed via rubber band mouth apperatae.

Thanks,
Sage

I had two train sets one that would puff smoke and the other was a modern train at the time. I also had one of the first hot wheels set which like the train set was used more by my father than me. I think it was one of those learn to share issues with my parents. Still have all three today and put the train engines out so guest can see the detail of a 40 year train set.
