Far too many bystanders on the "grassy knoll" disagree with you for me to take you seriously.

Were you there? They were and bullets came from behind them.

If there was a cover-up it had to be an Official one. There has never been a serious, thorough, central, official investigation.
Most of the “pulp fiction” paperbacks cranked out over the last 40 odd years, were read as Grand Jury testimony. The Government is content to let Individual citizens like you and me sift through tons of junk/information, much like a land-fill, hoping to find the truth.
If this is true, then the smoking gun has been officially “melted down” and made into a door stop or a paper weight….or so many common nails. The fact that official documents that have been classified and sealed, do not mean they have value. The act of classifying only adds value to the classifier, and it is always easier to classify with a broad brush.
When every person living at the time of the event, who has a memory of it is dead, the people remaining will not really care much one way or the other. ...sorry....didn't mean to be that long.

The one thing I've never understood about any potential conspiracy theory was this: So the parade route in Dallas wasn't released until the week of the assassination in November 1963. Oswald gets a job at the Texas school book depository and starts working the 3rd week of October 1963.

So for there to be a conspiracy involving Oswald or to frame him as the assassin of JFK:

A)The conspirators would have had to have knowledge of or the power to change a yet-to-be-announced future parade route and been able to get Oswald at a job at the Texas School Book Depository weeks before the route was announced.

or

B)Oswald got the job at the school book depository and through sheer dumb luck, the conspirators found the perfect candidate for a lone nut patsy to take the fall for the assassination after the route was announced.

Otherwise you're looking at...

C)Oswald got a job at the Texas School Book Depository and decided spur of the moment after the parade route was announced that he would assassinate the president...For what reason we'll never really know.

If a government agency was behind this killing/cover-up, it would have been easy to plan the route to suit their needs. This sharp turn on Elm, was designed to slow the motercade. I would think the secret service would be in charge of the route.

There is extensive sworn testimony of the advance agent Winston Lawson who planned the parade route.

The idea that the parade route was changed has been debunked.

Kennedy Assassination: Changed Motorcade Route?

Quote:
As the date for the President's visit approached, the two Dallas newspapers carried several reports of his motorcade route. The selection of the Trade Mart as the possible site for the luncheon first appeared in the Dallas Times-Herald on November 15, 1963. The following day, the newspaper reported that the Presidential party "apparently will loop through the downtown area, probably on Main Street, en route from Dallas Love Field" on its way to the Trade Mart. On November 19, the Times-Herald afternoon paper detailed the precise route:

"From the airport, the President's party will proceed to Mockingbird Lane to Lemmon and then to Turtle Creek, turning south to Cedar Springs.
The motorcade will then pass through downtown on Harwood and then west on Main, turning back to Elm at Houston and then out Stemmons Freeway to the Trade Mart."

If the secret service or another agency was behind it, they wouldn't have to "change" the route.... just plan it for there use. They wouldn't have to read about it in the paper. Oswald could be placed in the employ of the SBD building at any time prior to the event.
