So I think that I have a sore throat/strep...help! Do I need to have honey w/ lemon??

If you have strep throat you need anti-biotics. It's nothing to fool around with. It can cause rheumatic fever, heart damage . . .

You definitely need antibiotics if you have strep throat. But if you have a viral infection, antibiotics won't do anything.

I love club soda when I have a sore throat. It kinda burns and then my throat is numb ofr a good while.

Go to the doctor and get a rapid strep antigen test (results in 1 hour). Then you will get antibiotics or not. If not, you should try boiling a sliced ginger root in water and add some rock sugar (or honey) to it. This and gargling with warm, slightly salty water (do not overdo the salt or you will damage your mucosa) always works for me. A Russian remedy I've heard of but never tried is hot milk + butter... but that just sounds like too much calories.
