Yes. I work in a food ingredient manufacturing company. It is a habit, and well ingrained belief about hygiene and the law.

It appears that at least one person that participated in the poll worked in the food industry (ice cream) and was not washing their hands after using the restroom. That is disgusting!

Every time. I also use the paper towel to open the door when I leave a public restroom.

Most people i see just run their hands under the water quickly and then dry off and leave.

Probably not accomplishing much. But can say they wash their hands.

Of course then they grab the door handle

I was in a grocery store yesterday at the deli counter and ordered some food to go. A worker was making sandwiches with latex gloves on. When she came over to the til for me to pay for my food, she removed ONE glove, handled the money with BOTH hands and went back to get a fresh glove to replace the one she took off, so she could continue making the sandwiches. I was shocked! What's the POINT of latex gloves when workers don't use them properly?

Note: I'm calling the store today to report it to the manager.

Yes usually I do especially if I had business to attend to within it.....

Believe it or not, it is possible to have decent hygiene and still keep your immune system strong. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
