I think some people are just not sensitive to how their body feels, the dirt that is picked up from whatever, the absolute sensual pleasure of bathing, or the pleasure of pleasant scents (as opposed to unpleasant odors).
I wonder if the same people who do not like bathing, also don't enjoy other sensual pleasures such as massage, or who-knows?
I imagine the "dirty people" as having other unhealthy habits from substance abuse to dirty homes and cars . . .
I find it rather revealing that you think anyone who doesn't enjoy your sensory pleasure from bathing, to be a "dirty person" who is objectionable in every possible way.
Personally, I am far more often repelled by the commercial odors that people adorn themselves with, than those that are naturally produced by the healthy human body.
I have to shower in the morning, otherwise I just don't wake up. Shower and coffee or I'll just veg out all day. Sometimes I shower after the gym. It depends how hard the workout is.

I'm a natural kind of girl, but even with that said..there are some odors naturally produced by the human body that nobody wants to have the mispleasure of detecting.
Sorry, but unwashed/unclean bodies are just GROSS.
As a side note: I've heard of certain celebs who have hydrophobia. And that's always a dealbreaker with me. I've read in several accounts that Elvis didn't like to shower. He would just wipe all that sweat off (GROSS !!!) with a towel after his shows. You can wipe of the sweat, but you CAN'T wipe off the stickiness or more important, the smelliness.
Once a day, only during the summer I do it twice. It gets really hot down here.
I was taught as a kid to shower daily and look my best AT ALL TIMES. I think people who do not shower daily or at least attempt to cleanse the main areas daily are very unhygienic. it is equally disgusting when they do not shower but then attempt to "mask" the body odor by applying perfumes or colognes. It does not work that way.You HAVE to use good soap and water to cleanse your body. You must shower daily. It only takes 10-20 mins out of your day so what is the big deal? Bathing is a relaxing and soothing task, i ask again what is the deal with people who do not shower everyday?
It's good to know that almost 70% of the population is clean, if not squeaky clean. I don't know how the other people stand themselves or function and I wonder about their other habits (how clean their homes and cars are, if they have any addictions or "conditions" that might affect their clear thinking, if they pay their bills on time, etc.) I think a lot of different issues can be tied into hygiene and cleanliness. I wish a questionnaire could be done addressing all of these sub-issues to see if there are correlations.

There's a misprint in your user-name. You apparently live such a sheltered life, I think you must have meant incurious.
How about a questionnaire addressing the "conditions" that might affect posters who feel that they need to put the entire text of all of their posts in bold and in color?
I'm curious as to whether or not there is any correlation between scrubbing your skin cells off too often and shedding brain cells.
