We're told that Obama has appointed Loud-mouthed over-yammeristic Joe Biden as The Official Administration's position man on some new anti-gun legislation.

So... what can we prepare for? Will any of us/you actually stand on Main Street when or if they decide to blame us for any and all of this, without any other coinciding legislation to attend to vicious on-line videos, rampantly violent movies, and even the return of remakes of our old-tyme Westerns, but this time with lots of very graphic shootings?

Or how about the total lack of any school discipline and consequences for disruptive activities by unruly students? [cue old guy's rusty voice-over...] "Why in my day, sonny...", etc., you could not yell out in class, curse the teacher with truly fowl language and so on. That sad state of affairs simply makes the class bullies and urchins think it's all OK and SO big and adult. Maybe some time in true detention or being suspension for a week or three, sidelined for stupidity? Or a social dunce cap to be worn in school. Or alternately go home!!

So, yeah; let's see some other solutions besides demo'ing one's own stupid personal biases against an entire class of innocent and fully law-abiding gun-owning people. (PS: This all has nothing to do with hunting use. It's simply not the issue. There's no stats to show any relationship between the ownership of assault weapons and the reason for mental disease reactions!)

Not likely to happen though, huh? Better to pick the supposed low hanging fruit first, then repeat it again next time it happens.

You go JoeBee Man! I'm all soooo excited to hear yah on Friday!!

Is this the same JoeBee Man fresh from the VP debate who said Iran is years away from a missle system that can reach the US with a nuclear warhead ? You know, those same Iranians that were present at the launch site of North Korea's successful IBM effort last week. He's such a pro at recognizing dangerous weapons; especially assault rifles and thermonuclear delivery systems. Yes, Obama sure knows how to pick 'em.

It will be some knee jerk reaction to appease the sheeple. Banning scary black rifles with detachable magazines. Some wack job could have inflicted the same carnage with a baseball bat and then they would have to outlaw baseball bats. The whole nation is about to become California, what a pity. Feinstein is already making noise here to ban the California compliant AR with the so-called bullet button.
I feel terrible for the kids who died and their families but gun bans are not the answer.

Willaim Landes (University of Chicago) and John Lott (Yale), both famed economists conducted a massive study of multiple victim public shootings in the US between 1977 and 1995 to determine how different laws affected frequency and death toll.
Many of these were laws being proposed right now.
Findings: None of these had any effect on frequency or carnage. However, one public policy was shown to reduce the death rate from such crimes: concealed-carry laws.
If we really care about saving lives of the innocents by reducing mass public shootings, only one policy has been shown to work: concealed-carry laws.

Default What New Anti-gun Laws can we anticipate via Country Joe Biden's thoughtlessness? Be Prepared.

There is just no telling what old crazy Joe will come up with but we wont have to wait long because Odrama wants to act on it on Jan. 1st. I'm just guessing with such short time he will take Dinning Flistiens Assault weapon ban and modify it to call his own.

I heard some proposal of the equivalent of a TSA for schools. Every school would have Education Security Administration officers. Metal detectors installed at every school and random searches. Many high schools in gang areas already have metal detectors.

Do we want some pervert ESA agent feeling up your daughter and wife on their way to class and PTA meetings?

There are 450 airports staffed with TSA agents.

There are 100,000 public schools. That's 99,550 more locations for the Feds to impose their ESA officers.

The government is using a rare disaster to make another 9/11 style TSA push. I heard they are already recruiting people in the NRA to promote it.

the usual junk, ban any black scary guns, 10round mags. I do think they will also propose, all gun sales must have a back ground check, new cottage business there. maybe a turn in your neighbor who has guns drive! Now im sure they will over look and ghetto gangs and illegals, because everybody knows only white guys kill.
plus the Dems need there votes, and aint that what its really about?
