I've owned a Springfield 1903 and, an Enfield 1917, both bolt action rifles in 30-06 caliber. I presently own two Garands, one of which is sporterized and the other a Tanker model. I also own a Springfield M1A in 308 Caliber (Squad Scout). I've owned three different Johnson Automatic Model 1941 rifles, many people aren't familiar with this rifle, so I've posted a picture of the last one I had. I have also owned several different Mauser rifles in 8 MM. Some of the rifles I presently own, I have never fired. I've owned several different M1 Carbines, but presently have only a Ruger handgun in that caliber.

I personaly own an M1 Garand - M1 Carbine - 1903 Springfield - Swiss K31 - Aussie Enfield - Japanese Arisaka Type 99 - K98 Mauser and a M91 Mosin . I do not enjoy shooting the Mauser or the M91 . A friend has made me an offer on them and I think I'll take him up on it .

How is a British Sten SMG? It's a very crude submachine gun. The one I shot had issues along the way. They were made to be produced cheap and in very very large quanites. It ain't no HK MP5 or UZI.
Well; My grandfather was in the military 2 years after WW2 and was stationed @ Perl harbor. He told me all about every gun the function of them; how most of them work and how most of them shoot. Sadly i never got to shoot with him... By the time i was 10 he was 80. But it gave it away a little bit; Where were or are you stationed if we're permitted to tell?
British SMG, it seems like [ Sten ] it was made from trash cans by the name of the gun. Problems with the ammo or did the gun jam?

Any of those guns are a great idea to look into. They're pretty rare and personally i find them to be the best guns to fire. Just my opinion but NICE! How's the japanese Arisaka? How does it fire/how does it look?

Sounds like you really love the war effort . I've heard of most of the guns but not the Johnson. I need to look at gun up; what was it mostly used for? And that's a pretty impressive armament of guns.

i love the m1 So much; also... grease gun is not something a lot of people have. It's been a very long time since i've heard of it. How does it fire or is just for looks? cause the gun [ never seen it in person, only pictures but it's always looked nice, smooth well put together.]

Own and shoot a Trapdoor Springfield 45-70, as well, but I don't think anyone used them in WWII. Possible that some National Guard units drilled with them, not sure.
Those M1911's still one of the best pistol's out there. I've shot one but not owned one. They are no doubt one of my favorite pistols. Enfield is a pretty rare gun to own... i've not seen a lot of them... but then again i'm usually stuck in the house .
