Here's where you get the anodizing refinished at. They do what Sig Sauer and others won't do at the factory. Using a special removal method, it won't change tolerances. This will apply to AR variants, Sig Sauers, Beretta 92/96 and others, as well as many other weapons. Check it out! It's not FUBAR and corroding anymore. Nor is it wearing the rails down from lack of protection. It looks brand new again and done affordable as well. Your favorite gun doesn't have to look like hell anymore. YES!!!! Welcome to US Anodizing

$75 bucks to do a complete Sig or Beretta frame guys. That sounds pretty dang good and cheap for one that the rails are getting wore down and shiny! Also for the one that is missing 50% of it's finish! Those banged up FUBAR AR-15/M-16s are rockin' new too!

When I was traveling West Texas I wore a High Power slide to near nothing from my belt. I just stuck it in the back of my belt and walked off. After several years of leather shining it I finally had the slide replaced. I then had the entire weapon Armaloyed. I wasn't necessarily fond of the satin chrome look but it certainly kept the belt from wearing the slide. I never had any rust from sweat, creeks, rain, etc and while the finish is now fairly thin, the gun still functions like new despite having many tens of thousands of rounds run thru it. Seems the cost was about that-$75.00.

Yep, guns that get carried and shot a lot tend to show it. It shows far more on a gun that is the only one, two, or three that you own. The more guns you own, the more you can spread the use out. For what I shoot and use in a year...if I only had one, it would be wore out in less than five years. All the other guys I know are the same way with their safe stash of choices for the week or month. That is except for one guy. He tears stuff up like no one I have ever seen before. He'll buy a brand new handgun. A month or two later it looks like it's ten years old! What the hell are you doin' to it man? He's just rough on things. I'll also note he never understands why, if and when, he goes to sell things, people always lowball him on his asking price. You tore it all up man. Beyond use...this is abuse, NOT wear! Getting parkerizing and other finishes refinished on heavily used firearms was never a problem. There are tons of choices, places and types of finishes for that. This anodizing "problem" has plagued shooters for decades. Sig Sauer will refinish their slide and replace/recondition all other parts. They won't touch the frame though. That's one of the bad things about buying a Certified Pre Owned. It looks like they touched up the scratches, nicks and finish wear with a black Sharpie marker! LOL That's where the Sig CPO and Sharpie joke came from. LOL Well, it's not a problem anymore for really tore up Sigs, Berettas, ARs etc.
