At Yard House, pretty good! Servers nice, food is good and cooked to order, prices are reasonable, atmosphere is great. Its chilly in here but whatever. Good addition to Gville.
Gville is a serious draw in the retail department. Many stores in Magonlia alone that are or near SC exclusives, like Yard House. Even Charlotte doesn't have one yet.
I may have overlooked this in the thread...what is being built in front of the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Hwy 14 in Simpsonville? Looks like it will be a fast food joint.
I heard that in the old Cade's/Pawley's restaurant off Butler/I385 will be a new sushi restaurant. Anyone know any more details than that?
I'm never out in that area so not sure if there's a sign up or not.
Speaking of that does anyone know what actually happened to Pawley's? When we first moved here 8 years ago we tried that place out and it was *awesome*. Great food, reasonable prices, etc. It was *packed* every time we went, then one day it was just gone. I imagine the owner got in big trouble for something because I can't imagine it didn't get enough business.
Cade's was horrible though, I can't believe that place even made it past the concept stage.

Pawley's just closed up one day and became Cade's afterwards. It was mentioned here that the same owner was involved in both restaurants. Don't know if he has sold it or not.
At the former Travinia's location at 1625 Woodruff Rd., I noticed today a new sign for Angelo's Greek & Italian Cuisine. Legal notices published in the March 13, 20 and 27 issues of "Greenville Journal" (GreenvilleJournal.com) announced that ADEK, LLC, dba Angelo's Greek & Italian Cuisine, intended to apply to SCDOR for a license/permit that would allow the sale and on-premises consumption of beer, wine and liquor.
