Great article today re Gower Estates:

Gower Estates gets a new lease on life | GreenvilleOnline.com | The Greenville News

We're planning to move to a rental there in the next month.

The article mentions, "New schools are planned or are under construction for the attendance area that includes the neighborhood" - does anybody know what specific schools?

Does anybody live in or around Gower? Any comments? Just looks like a great area .

I grew up in the area. The schools are Sara Collins Elementary, Beck Academy (Middle), and JL Mann Academy (High). All of the schools are in new buildings. Sara Collins sits in the Gower neighborhood, with Beck not far away on Woodruff Rd, and JL Mann not far on Fair Forest Lane.

It is a great area. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for info - just didn't know if there are any new middle/high schools under construction/consideration for the parkens mill area (which the newspaper article mentions).
