For casual low priced food with awesome homemade cakes we like to go to Lazy Chicken to eat! It is owned by a married couple who are very nice and make really good seasoned rotisserie chicken with homemade sides like macaroni and cheese, squash casserole, corn casserole, homemade mashed potatoes etc.. they have the best and moistest cakes from Red Velvet, Chocolate, Strawberry, and I think lemon. They have several choices of chicken options as well besides the rotisserie as well very good and flavorful!

You would have failed in marketing. You did an excellent job of describing the food and making it appetizing. BUT YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THE LOCATION!!!!! DOH!

This is whole list is nice but I was gonna say that from what I have heard Smoke on the Water is a bit different from typical bbq restaurants. Isn't it a little more fancy than the typical bbq establishment?

I haven't been there. Just asking.

I've never even considered Smoke on the Water a barbecue place. I have been there a couple of times, and never ordered barbecue or even noticed it on the menu. It's definitely a nicer place, and not your typical barbecue joint with no real atmosphere.

Are you saying Smoke on the Water has no real atmosphere or the typical bbq joint has no real atmosphere?

Sorry. I was trying to say that Smoke on the Water has a nice atmosphere - much better than you'll find at 99% of barbecue joints.

I suppose that's fair. Most bbq joints are more about the food than the frills.

I am surprised anyone would miss the obvious fact that Smoke on the Water specializes in barbeque. Then again, I rarely eat anything other than barbeque or brisket there. They are also known for their happy hour.
