My wife and I will be in Greenville for the teacher job fair next week. What advice for accounting positions would you offer? Temp firms reputations? How is the overall Greenville job picture with the current economic slow down? Would waiting till next year be of any benefit? Thanks for your insight!

I would recommend Accountemps. Everywhere that I have worked we have used Accountemps and have gotten some wonderful employees who have become permanent. Good luck.

Teaching positions are sure to be constantly in demand for the foreseeable future, so I would say go for it as soon as you can. The overall job market seems to be relatively steady here in the Greenville area, despite the declining national trend.

carefully picking your school! I got a teaching job down here last year, and I like it, but I wish I'd looked into the school I chose to teach at a bit more.
