Creative Type Opportunities (Greenville, Laurens: shops, move to, clothing)

Hello everyone!

My husband and I are in the beginning stages of organizing a move to the Greenville, SC area, and we would like to ask about the availability of things like alternative clothing stores (i.e. Goth, Punk, etc) and/or costume shops in the area. We're planning to visit several times before forming our overall thoughts of the city, but we just wanted a few ideas as to stores/shops like these that we could scope out while we were in town.

Many thanks for any and all suggestions! We have looked online - nothing much was coming up, though, so we thought we'd ask the locals who knew! Thank you, thank you.

there really isnt much of those stores anymore, at least not that i am aware of. there's your run of the mill mall Hot Topic but i cant really think of anything else since The Uptown Downtown closed a few years back.

Costumes shops, there is Halloween Highway on South Pleasantburg (not sure what their non-holiday hours are) and Costume Curio on Laurens Road.
