What a ridiculous post. Of course the climate changes. Nobody disputes that. We have an Ice Age. It warms up. We have another ice age. It warms up again. On and on.
I have yet to meet a republican that denies that the climate changes.
That would be a strawman. The correct statement would be: How many of the anthropogenic climate change deniers are either Republican or individuals who have consistently voted Republican in national elections.

How many of the Sky is Falling scare mongers("State of Fear," a "near-hysterical preoccupation with safety that’s at best a waste of resources and a crimp on the human spirit, and at worst an invitation to totalitarianism") over the years are Democrats or individuals who have consistently voted Democrat in national elections

Belgium: Climate scientist Luc Debontridder of the Belgium Weather Institute’s Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) co-authored a study in August 2007 which dismissed a decisive role of CO2 in global warming: "CO2 is not the big bogeyman of climate change and global warming. “Not CO2, but water vapor is the most important greenhouse gas. It is responsible for at least 75 % of the greenhouse effect. This is a simple scientific fact, but Al Gore's movie has hyped CO2 so much that nobody seems to take note of it.”
Proponents of man-made global warming like to note how the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the American Meteorological Society (AMS) have issued statements endorsing the so-called "consensus" view that man is driving global warming. But both the NAS and AMS never allowed member scientists to directly vote on these climate statements. Essentially, only two dozen or so members on the governing boards of these institutions produced the "consensus" statements. This report gives a voice to the rank-and-file scientists who were shut out of the process.
“Paleoclimatologist Dr. Tim Patterson, professor in the department of Earth Sciences at ... recently converted from a believer in man-made climate change to a skeptic. Patterson noted that the notion of a “consensus” of scientists aligned with the UN IPCC or former Vice President Al Gore is false. ...

75-80% would be my guess. I actually know quite a few Republicans who believe that we have a problem with global warming. I know 2-3 Democrats who believe we don't have a problem.
I buy wind generated electricity and this summer it's cheaper than the brown stuff. What's the downside to moving ahead on low-cost/no-cost policy matters?
Say it again class S-U-B-S-I-D-Y.... you're paying less because we're paying for it. Man it feels good to be green.
I have plenty to spare as it only cost me $1500 last year to heat a 4000 sq. ft. house with coal including domestic hot water. Now I'm off to the shore for the week with rest I saved.
It is a tautology that the Sun is the dominant factor in the Earth temperature. What we are asking is what is making the temperature increase?
