So now someone is wanting another person punished because they think for themselves and don't go along with the crowd. I call this freedom. Punishing a person for their ideas is called communism. Is this a communist thread? Sounds like one.

Frost on June 1st here.

It is nothing new though. In 1897 it was called the summer we never had. There was ice window pane thick on puddles because a volcano somewhere in the world had kind of obscured the sun. That ice formed in Maine in July.

BT - The years were 1883+4 because of the eruption of Krakatau in Indonesia. It was one of many years without summer through history due to large eruptions.

Some parts of the Green Movement have become a religion with vehement true believers. They are matched with the religion of True Deniers. The reality is somewhere in between and based on very careful observation and study. Earth and climate studies are no place for religious fanaticism. We need facts, not faith.

Thumbs up, I wish this disclaimer could be put on all the environmental news!

Hasn't gotten quite that cold here in NE Pennsylvania but the night and days have been quite chilly for this time of the year. The winter was no picnic either especially January. This is about 100 miles or more North of me. Looks like two record setting days in about a two week span.

Well, it's June 5, 2009 today, and I had ice on my windshield this morning. It was cold enough to kill my neighbor's tomato plants. I'm glad I didn't have any in the ground yet.

By the way, this all happened in California.

I can beat that. Its snowing in northern Montana right now with a half inch on the ground. Temperature is 32 degrees.

Boys Boys Boys...

It's not called Global Warming anymore. It's Global Climate Change.

That way, ANYTHING unusual that happens with the weather can be blamed on Americans.
