Monsanto says it has no interest in the bill and would not benefit from it, but Monsanto’s Michael Taylor who gave us rBGH and unregulated genetically modified (GM) organisms, appears to have designed it and is waiting as an appointed Food Czar to the FDA (a position unapproved by Congress) to administer the agency it would create — without judicial review — if it passes. S 510 would give Monsanto unlimited power over all US seed, food supplements, food and farming.

Alex Jones' InfoWars

New World Order, News and Prophecy

An article that begins with this line: "S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US."

Is it possible for you to post anything that is LESS credible?

Also, do you realize that that bill is 3 years old, and did not pass Congress?

It's posting ludicrous stuff like this that confirms the fact you don't bother to read the crap you post.....

I went to the read more link and went to the first of the reference URL's there...

Holy crap batman, it's a Russian propaganda article and when I clicked on it the video had been pulled because of copyright infringement...

The second link there is from the same news organization that had previously posted totally wrong information on airplanes vapor trails (chemtrails to the conspiracy nuts)....

The only factual information in this thread was posted by Big George....

Hopefully the next time the OP starts a thread it will be about something that's currently occurring and not based on some blog that gets it's facts from ridiculous news sources....

Monsanto is one of this planets scourges against it's people. They use other countries for their products that are outlawed in the U.S. and also "test" their products on other countries due to their lower standards of protection for their environments. Monsanto has slowly used their power to damage this countries laws against unsafe use of products or cornering the markets for their own monetary greed.

Thank you for that personal - albeit totally without sources - rant.

Accredited reliable factual sources please?

As I mentioned in another anti-Monsanto thread rant.....

Monsanto has saved more people worldwide from starving to death than all all the mother Earth charity drives and tree hugger concerts to save the poor combined.

How have the bleeding hearts of the world helped the starving more than Monsanto?

Monsanto introduced Teflon to American cookware knowing that it's carcinogenic.

Monsanto's push to introduce GMO crops in some parts of the world has resulted in famine, suicides, and land lost due to failed GMO crops.

Why are there people posting in Green Living who have no interest in Green Living, and who routinely defend corporations that undermine the public welfare at home as well as abroad? This is a very strange Green Living forum.
