There's this simplistic idea that harsh criminal sanctions are a problem-solver. Unfortunately, it's just a dogmatic claim that ignores reality.
Remind me again, which part of the country has the highest incarceration rate? And carries out the vast majority of execution in the land?

Like I said, there's reality and there's dogma - two different things.
So what's the point of your enthusiasm for the execution of women who have abortions? Deterrence? (in spite of the fact that harsh punishment simply doesn't correlate with lower incidences of crime) Or just because you want to see them executed? (if so, perhaps you can tell us why public policy should be a certain way for no other reason than you want it)
