Hello all -

Our company has decided I should move to Cartersville. Looks good on paper.

I believe I find an apartment or two from internet searches (not picky where I sleep).

A bit trickier - I'll be looking for office wharehouse space - 3-5000 sq ft with parking for 75 company vehicles.

Any ideas to narrow my search patterns a bit?

thanks!

j

Cartersville is a great city to do business and live in within hours from larger cities like Atlanta, Chattanooga and Birmingham.

You should contact the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce ( cartersvillechamber.com ) or Cartersville-Bartow County Economic Development ( locationbartow.com ) - they should be able to help you.

I believe there are some commerical/office spaces available in the Cassville Road/I-75 (northside) and Henderson Drive (westsiide) areas of the city.

Spent the day driving around - looks like fun with a great river to float on. I spent some time in my youth int he area and many days on Allatoona.

I covered btoht he areas you mentioned, unfortunately the 75 vehicle parking is killing me!

Thanks for the input tho'

There is a large office/industrial park right on Highway 113, near Euharlee Road, on the west side of town. If you saw the river, you probably went right by the place. If you're heading West on 113, it's on the right. Near Henderson, but on the opposite site of the highway. You really can't see anything from the highway except the entrance, but it looks like a huge space. Let me know if you need any more info and I'll run over, take a look and get name/#.

found a place or two - thanks Sharon it was out 113 right by the airport and the other on the north side - industial park dr. Now I'll let the money men negotiate which one.

I'm pretty sure we'll end up on the north side.

now, need some referrals. I will have a fleet of 40-50 vans that will need regular service and (i'm sorry to say) ongoing body work for those little dings in life.

So,
oil changes

tires

fuel

body work.

any one know good ones that understand they can make a little $$ each time 'cause I'll be bringing 40 trucks in rotation and not to try to make a quick buck one time?

Fast-Trak Body Werks at Fast Trak Body Werks, LLC | Welcome! might be a good fit for what you are looking for. They built their shop to serve fast turnaround for the small stuff while maintaining enough capability for the occasional big stuff to handle insurance claims for their coveted clients. They also have a large parking lot and inside, secure overnight parking to take 10-20 at a time. Give them a call; ask for the owner (Shavon) and I'm sure you'll find them eager to work with you. Good Luck! John

why are there so many homes for sale in cartersville, ga? we are thinking of moving there but are concerned that there seems to be so many available homes for sale, most seem to have (5.0 acres or more). Is this a good place to live?

It is a quite town and not really convient to malls and resturants. Also if you have children i would not recommend the school systems at all.
