I travel from Lawrenceville to Chamblee Tucker Exit. I actually get on the road around 6 am. It takes me over an hour to get to work. I do the alternate of 29 now that 316 is a parking lot. I leave work at 3 to get home, this is the worst.

My opinion is that if they would move the 18 wheel trucks back to the 2 right lanes, that would make a big difference. These trucks are jumping into the middle to left lanes and holding back traffic....you can't get around them. Or they are crawling up on the bumper of your car trying to intimidate you.

If many years ago they would have put a "285" on the northern section of the metro area.....we would not be having this traffic problem so bad today. We need a way to get from Lawrenceville/Flowery Branch area all the way over to Cherokee etc. without going down to 285 -over to 75 and back up.

Just my opinion....a sore subject!

Does anyone think there will be more lanes added in the future in order to eleviate the traffic issues? That has been the case in Miami.
