Let's say you were independently wealthy and could afford five homes in the country, where would you put them? I have played this game internationally as well, but since this is a US forum, let's stick to the country. Here are mine:
1- New York
2- San Francisco
3- Austin
4- Chicago
5- Seattle
In no particular order:
1. Someplace in rural New Hampshire/Maine.
2. Norris, Tennessee
I wouldn't chose to live in a big city. I would want scenic places that are obscure such as mountains, rural farm land, secluded coast line, woods, or even in the middle of a desert. I guess I'm getting older and crabbier....and less tolerant of people.
