Monumental1, If your opinion is negative, tone it down or keep it to yourself.
Your name says a lot about who you think you are. I bet I can guess the truth.
You are off topic,...... and took the time to attack someone, while trying to preach. I think what you just said should be addressed, it was completely irrespnsible, and disturbing to read.
The thread is about what you love in your area, not what you dislike in another persons area and it's not about how people are less complete because they don't live where you think it's the best. I'm trying to get you to relax the negative rhetoric not disturb you. My apology.
I posted some more photos of my actual neighborhood in Corvallis on the neighborhood thread if you want to check them out. I will be taking more photos of the different neighborhoods here with actual houses, rather than just the campus, and will be uploading them shortly. I accidentally uploaded some pictures of my friends and I, and now I can't seem to edit the damn post to remove them. I guess it's been to long to edit it or something. Anyway, the thread is here: https://www.city-data.com/forum/general-u-s/190946-real-photos-your-neighborhood-2.html

Thank you for saying this. It's fine to say you prefer big cities with lots of things to do, but it's not necessary to denigrate other places in the process.
Alright, took a trip up to Seattle over the weekend and took some photos. Sadly, a lot of them didn't turn out (especially night photos), so there's not a lot of photos here. It's really too bad, this weekend was crazy and there were a ton of people out on the streets. Overall, a very fun trip!

For some reason there were all these pigs around the city, here's a picture:

Squinting my eyes to block out the SUN in November (it was really sunny while we were up there). Also, note the tacky shirts.
These are all great. I have been lucky to travel to a lot of places in the US. It is a beautiful country and these pics show why. Thanks for sharing.
