I've never seen them in Montana.

I grew up catching them in Ohio.

You see lots of fireflies in Minnesota during the summer — especially on hot and humid nights.

Use to see them all the time around here in central south Carolina when I was growing up. But, I haven't seen them in years around here. We use to catch them and put them in a mason jar and punch holes.
