States I've visited are:
IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, LA, WA, CA, TX, MI, OH, PA, FL, VT.
I've ridden in a vehicle through a bunch of other states, most in the dark of night, on my way to visiting the states above. Didn't stop at most of them, though, except a few for gas or food.
I would love to see almost all states. Alaska is high on my bucket list.

Resident of Indiana i have visited all our neighboring states/WI/Missouri/Tenn/Virginia/NC/SC/WV/GA/FL/Sadly the Peoples Republic of Californiastan and thats all i can think of.
Ive never been to Europe or South America, but through my almost 62 years, I have been to every state except for North Dakota.
This is a beatiful nation, and could never understand why somebody would rather run to Paris before seeing the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the White Mountains, or the great lakes in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
I relish my trips through our great land, and I hope to revisit many places----even get to maybe Fargo.
No worries. I guarantee Nebraskans feel the same way about you!
Ok, at least they respect me, I think its a beautiful state and wonderful people and would have definitely included it several years ago, however due to certain things happening, I never want to go there. Once again there is nothing wrong with the state or its people, just personal reasons I can't go there.
In order, there are twenty of them. I'll try and include my best guess at the year I first set foot in them:
California (born and raised), 1983
Oregon, 1989
Washington (semi-raised, lived in), 1989
Idaho, 1992?
Montana, 1992?
Arizona, 1993?
Nevada, 1993?
Minnesota, 1993
Michigan, 1993
New York, 1993
Wyoming, 1994?
Utah, 1994?
Colorado, 1994? (live in)
South Dakota, 1996?
Nebraska, 1996?
Kansas, 1996?
Oklahoma, 1996?
Texas, 1996?
New Mexico, 1996?
Missouri, 2008
I'd like to visit all the rest of them. If I would make a guess at which one will be next, I'll guess North Dakota (it's like the closest one I haven't been to ldo).
I've also been to:
Canada
British Columbia, 1989
Alberta, 1995?
Ontario, 2002
Mexico
Baja California Norte, 2002
Got three more:
21. Illinois, August 23, 2012
22. Wisconsin, August 23, 2012
23. Indiana, August 24, 2012

Next summer for vacation, we plan to swing through New England. That should add Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire to the list. Then the only states left for me are Oregon, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. I've changed planes in Minnesota plenty of times, but that doesn't really count.
I've been to 47 states. The only ones I still "need" are Alaska, North Dakota, and Kentucky.
