States that I will probably never visit (Don't count them out 100%):
Montana
Idaho
Wyoming
New Mexico
North Dakota
South Dakota
Nebraska
Kansas
Oklahoma
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Iowa
Missouri
Arkansas
Mississippi
Alabama
Tennessee
Kentucky
West Virginia
South Carolina
Delaware
Vermont
New Hampshire
Maine

Which states do you think I should take off the "Probably Never Visit" list?
If your interest is large cities you should maybe take the following off as they all have cities in the top 40 of US metros.

Minnesota - Minneapolis-St. Paul
Missouri - Kansas City and St. Louis
Tennessee - Nashville
Wisconsin - Milwaukee

If none of those cities sound of interest to you than you can keep them on the "never visit" list. Although Iowa and Wisconsin I believe have some fairly Dutch towns and quaint towns that maybe you'd like.

Lack of intellectual curiousity? It's sad.

The only states I haven't visited in the lower 48 are Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and North Dakota.

I've been to every other state at least once, plus all of the Canadian provinces except for Quebec. Every state adds something unique to our great nation. Open your minds, and you will find lots of wonderful treasures in our country, and many in places you would never expect.

sorry, there were no obstacles given by OP other than "I don't want to see them". that smacks of ignorance.

Been through all states but:
AK, HI, ND, WV & AL. In my 20+ years of business travel, I've found something in every state that is unique and/or beautiful. I've honestly enjoyed every place I've visited.

I think it's likely that every state in the U.S. has some section in it that resembles no other place in the country. But if you are just passing through a state, or visiting some corner of it, you have less of an opportunity to chance upon the smaller, lesser-known and unique regions.

I have visitied most of the states east of the Mississippi River. I need to visit the states in the Rocky Mountains. That is next on my list.
