Very interesting. Thanks for posting.

The question that begs to be asked is this: why would anyone go to Atlanta willingly?

Maybe you should ask those 2.4% of the market share who go.I tell people how DC is not as dangerous or ghetto as people portray it .I also tell people how beautiful Frankfurt was when I used to go when stationed at Ramstein AB.Some Americans are ignorant about a place just like apparently they are in other parts of the world.

Why would you say something like that??? And the same can definitely be said for Houston and Dallas.

I really don't, but it is so funny how most of you can never make your mind up if you are in the "South" or not, only when Atlanta is compared with yourself you are conveniently located in the South, anything else ,,,no, Dallas and Houston are not southern attitude.

If you look back at all my posts, you will see that I have firmly asserted that Texas is a southern state. No wavering here. Texas Reb will vouch for me, no if ands or buts about it, I have never changed my opinion.

I have never heard you say anything nice about anywhere in Texas

I love Austin, I know Atlantans blow a lot of hot air including me, but some of you Texans are just down right obnoxious at times. I know Texas is a unbelievable place, and a treasure for this country, but so is every other state as well. I think Houston is way too hot and flat and humid, and Dallas is just awful IMO...Sorry. No one really has any superiority over anyone else.
Thanks

The suprise for me is how different this is from a domestic traveler survey that we seen here on CD. Probably because when you take out things like domestic business travelers and conventions, you get a more realistic idea of how interesting certain cities are to actual tourists.

Anyway, its very noticeable how well Florida does on this survey, with at least 3 cities in the top 20.

For one thing, you do not really know what a city is really like until you have actually been there. Reading and looking at photos of a place helps but only tells you so much. Some people don't even do that but rely entirely on stereotypes.
