What is your overall impression of how your last move went with a large van line or moving company? What was the deciding factor in using them?Would you recommend them or use them again? How long ago?

You dont have to give names, this isn't a promotion or bashing just an inquiry as to how the moving industry is performing in a slow economy.

Feel free to explain some reasons for the answers. Thanks for your responses.

You may just use one of the 'smilies' to sum up your experience if you like. Have a good day.

I did my research, avoided the con artists and moved from Virginia to Texas with minimal head aches Yeah - it cost more than we really wanted to spend but all of our stuff was delivered when promised, with no breakage or stolen items and for the price that was quoted. The way I look at it, the additional cost was worth the piece of mind!
