I got to witness the Tex Rail train zoom by today off Rufe snow in North Richland Hills. It’s a really nice looking train.

A media and VIP preview on December 31, regular service starting on January 5. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of soft opening in between those dates.

Does the mayor statement that Panther Island needs to focus on flood control imply the project needs to focus on building the lake and canals first and worry about the rest later?

We don't really know, yet. It's an Audit, so they're looking at what exactly needs to be done for the project to continue and who knows what that could be...?

It's cool looking but doesn't really reflect the Stockyards. One of the things that makes the city stand out is the Stockyards. I'd hate for the Stockyards to become architecturally generic.
