The Alliance Town Center has a grocery store and some other shops but it's not like there is a department store or grocery store down the street. Also, not much (if any) in the way of restaurants in the area. You're driving back to Alliance Town Center to get to something.
Alliance Town Center
Sprouts will open within a few miles from Haslet in July, there are places such as Family Dollar and big gas stations for the infamous forgotten milk:>)
If you want to live in a community of sidewalks, neighbors on top of you, walking to the store - Haslet is not your place. Everything is 5-10 miles.
