What are your thoughts on moving to Haslet, Texas. We have two children ages 4 and 11. The commute isn't a problem as husband has home office. We are coming from Midland, Michigan with a population around 40,000

Haslet is booming and the new elementary school on Willow Ridge draws a lot of newcomers.

Depending on the specific area around Haslet, or in Haslet proper (within Haslet city limits), the demand for property is extremely high. Northwest ISD is a great school district, and you can't beat the convenience to major shopping and entertainment. There is a new Outlet Mall scheduled to open in 2015 within just a couple of miles.
