Hi all. I am looking to rent an apartment near fort Myers beach. My budget will be 800 to 1000 for 2 bed/2 bath. I will need to access fmb on a daily basis for work.

I have been looking at craigslist and couple stood out. I have also been reading reviews on apartment ratings and it seems just about every place has bad or fake reviews.

Can you comment on any of the places below?

Palms of Monterrey
Maple gardens
The gardens at beach walk

Should I look in Bonita spring as well?

Of the three...go with Palms. Ignore the ratings and reviews you see online, most of the time it's digruntled tenants making those comments. I know several ppl who live and have lived at the Palms and they really like it.

If you can, try staying on the beach or even Bonita. Traffic will be better, by far. You don't want to have to cross the bridge onto Estero Island. You might be able to get a better rate if you lock in before season starts.
