Hello, Allegiant Air is going to be flying to Punta Gorda starting next month which is going to save us about 2 1/2 hours of travel time to get to our house in Cape Coral! Yippee!! My problem is I need to know of a good taxi company that can get me from Punta Gorda Airport to NW Cape Coral for a decent price. When we flew into Ft. Myers a cab ride was about 20.00 per person so I would like to find something comparable to that. Any suggestions?

I would try a shuttle or a transportation service other than a taxi that might do it at a flat rate as opposed to mileage.

i used a limo service (town car sedan) their number is 941-505-9400 I believe it is called airport limo her name is Valerie, very reliable. I usually have a family of 4 and "think" it was around $60. Sometimes I'd have more where they used a 3 row seat suburban which was more. I don't think they do a per person thing it is strictly the route.

I took the bus from the Cape Coral library to Fort Myers airport for a total of $2.50. Maybe there is something similar available to Punta Gorda?
