I really don't know that much about convection ovens, but I've seen a few of them in stores. Seems like some have different features than others. I like the ones that can accept and cook a twelve inch pizza!
I bought a lower end one and it's not that good. Fan is on the right and if I were to cook a 12" pizza, right side will be burned while the left side is untouched. But it sort of depends what you're going to use it for, making a sunday roast or just waffles, toast or pizza?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Cooking pizza in the oven would be a priority. I really don't know much about convection ovens yet....I guess it's capable of cooking many different things like roasts etc. I didn't realize it could cook waffles too. Thanks for the input.
I bought a cheapo one too - it was a Cooks brand they sell at JC Penney. I used it once and boxed it back up intending to take it back but it ended up in the Goodwill pile. It was noisy and it wasn't that fast. My sister has one that's really quiet and seems to be a quality one, I think it's a Cuisinart. I've been wanting to look at them again but this time I plan to spend at least $100 to get a decent one.

Thanks for the advice....I will check out the Cuisinart.
I need some advice or feed back from anyone who has a convection oven. Our micro (over the range) kicked the bucket a few months ago so we are going to replace it, but I was wondering if we should go the convection route (combo) I think? What you say?
