Here ya' go! Tells you how it should be cooked and lots of info about it. I grew up in TN and yes, my mother cooked it a few times. Usually added turnip greens or mustard greens and cooked them all together.
When I was very little I remember going with my country granny across the road from her house to find the stuff. Seems like she picked it near old fallen trees. Be sure to cook it right. Granny used to make it like greens, with bacon and onion, or scramble it in eggs.
