I've always considered bread and butter pickles the sweet kind? Is there another sweet pickle? Those are the only ones I've had.

Absolutely!

Bread and butter pickles, also known as sweet and sour pickles, are on the sweeter end of the pickle spectrum, but not quite to the level of traditional sweet pickles.
What are Bread and Butter Pickles?

Vlasic Sweet Pickles

Personally the only sweetish type pickle I'd eat is Bread and Butters.

Yeah I only eat the Bread and Butter ones too. They are yummy! I like dill too, but in a potato salad or egg salad I like the B&B pickles.

Ah you reminded me... It's that time of year again to get my annual jar of sweet pickled watermelon rind. They're so sweet they last all summer. I like the Old South brand which have an nice, spicy flavor.

Pickled Watermelon Rind - Old Time Pickled Watermelon Rind Recipe I should try to make them sometime

Mt Olive makes a killer spicy garlic dill pickle that is nirvana in potato, pasta, and chicken salads. The DILL heads have moved ahead in the poll!
