I don't like the mess associated with long spaghetti noodle. Prefer short and bit thicker, like those fusilli. The sauce is classic mushroom with ground beef, tomatoes, bell pepper and spices.
I had some potatoes that needed to be used and a lot of fresh veggies. So I made a big pot of chowder - potatoes, celery, onions, summer squash, sweet corn.

out last night. Ended up getting brussel chips w/ grana padano, then pizza w/ goat cheese & grilled peaches, iberico ham & arugula. Nice glass of a Super Tuscan to go with. peaches & pound cake & cream for dessert later.
I may get a big green egg meg for kicks for smoking. In the mood of a smoked turkey.
