Watching NHL ICE HOCKEY tonight with friends. Therefore I will be serving pancake soup in a cup,a variety of ready made sandwiches with cheeses like Harzer,Limburger,Swiss,Gouda,Camembert, for the men cold cuts. As well red radishes, cucumber and tomato slices,Diil pickles and homemade soft Bavarian Pretzels with butter. To drink beer. As snacks beer nuts, cashew nuts. Also leftover apple cake with black coffee or Glühwein/mulled red wine.
Love Costco's steak (the regular kind not restaurant grade, is soooo tender!) so am trying out their beef stew meat- have some marinating in a pan, but want to pan cook it and add fresh green beans at the end...
Costco is one of the only places we can find Prime meat here.

I was going to eat a late lunch/early dinner of a Cobb salad and chicken noodle soup I got from a local place that makes their soup from scratch, including the noodles. My husband worked today and I kind of thought he'd be home later in the day, but when I got home with my food he was already there. So I had half a Cobb salad and half a bowl of chicken noodle soup. He hadn't eaten and the place closes at 2:00 pm so I couldn't get more and I couldn't sit there and eat it in front of him. It was so good, especially those homemade noodles! You can buy it by the quart and I think I'll get a quart of it Monday. They are closed tomorrow.
We have a leftover ribeye that he will have later and I'll have some leftover stew.
Chili --with grated sharp cheddar and soup crackers.
