I'm feeling pretty good having met my goal of finishing with a 4.0. I'm celebrating with food, plus it's the holidays, so I'm afraid I'm going to gain 10.0 pounds this month!

I have one nice rib eye, which I will grill on the Foreman and serve with baked potatoes w/ sour cream, and a big salad of green leaf, iceberg, baby spinach, hard boiled egg, daikon, pink radish, celery, red cabbage, and sunflower seeds dressed with buttermilk ranch. I think I'll try my hand at some butter-garlic croutons with some stale french bread I've got on the counter.

I am also making more chicken for cats!
I just had some today! It was delicious, thanks!

I'm so proud of you! 4.0! Superstar! Aim higher on the gain -- go for a dozen pounds. Your dinner sounds delicious. Pile on the sour cream -- you've got to celebrate strong!

We had workers in the house and I am fostering a Boston Terrier who was just released Friday from the animal hospital after recovering from 2 surgeries and she came down with kennel cough today. So painter and electrician in and out and a crying doggie wanting to be carried.

So best I could do was fry up a couple of hamburgers and serve with salt & vinegar potato chips. Dessert was a shot glass of Jaegermiester. And the dog got a tablespoon of honey.

Well, my wife said she wouldn't eat gator gumbo, so the alligator meat went into the freezer until our next "get together".

well can't find the Cornish game hen thread?! The recent one -so I had one thawed in the fridge, wasn't sure how to cook just one- but why heat up a whole oven for one tiny bird?
I just split it in half and fried it up in butter and olive oil in a pan and am serving it over the left over Morrocan 7 spice stew I made (sweet potato, celery, onion, carrot) and brown rice...

last night was salmon and asparagus with banana sundaes for dessert.

Tonight will be pan fried pork chops with collards and sweet potatoes. Probably no dessert -- all the Xmas goodies are coming in to the offices and there's enough sweet going on mid-day that I don't need to add to it right before bed!

Last nights dinner was a hit. https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/ca...-salted-yogurt

I am really curious about the second new meal I am trying out tonight.

http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/r...ts-and-parsley

It will be red wine spaghetti with walnuts and parsley. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit and later some of my latest baked Christmas cookies and a cup of Earl Grey tea.
