We were going to meet some friends and go on a canal boat ride... but it looks like it is not in line with what the weather wants...gray and gloomy here... nothing too dramatic...just a little drizzle I am thinking...So I think it is movie and dinner instead... don't know where yet... the kids are going to try and get the last day of swimming in at the inlaws if it doesn't thunder...pool is closed tomorrow... Summer is slipping away... next month it will be snowing here....

Kick back and enjoy her company! She's only staying for a short time---she has other places to go in a very short time! She visited us in the early AM today and then up and left as fast as she came. Some might think this rude of her but I felt her stay was long enough! Her looks are worse then she really is---at least that's how I felt when she was here! My but she is really on the run.....going, going, gone!
I just put a banana bread in the oven.....I had three smallish very ripe bananas and the recipe called for 4......so I added about a quarter cup of myers dark rum to the mashed banana....to increase the liquid by about the amount of the missing banana.....DP just walked thru the kitchen and commented tht it smelled good!
Time will tell........... If I see him schmudgin' up the crumbs on the tip of his finger...I will know the rum trick worked.

She never heard the one about "going home with the one who brung ya"! This little tramp is just running up the coast all by herself and she her dance card is more than full.
Happy Saturday! I took out a steak and also have some ribs leftover from yesterday. Made a big salad also, and some kind of starch.
