Ok, gotta ask, what is your recipe for Party beans? Are they baked beans?
Oh boy I have got to make a smoothie spiked with rum. Will have to try that this weekend!!!!!!
Miss Holiday's Party Beans: (canned beans really doctored up big time......)
1: take a can of pork and beans in tomato sauce like campbell's , a can of new england style baked beans, a can of kidney beans drained and one of butter beans drained(gotta have the butter beans) can also use the white kidneys and/or gabonzo beans also drained.
2: fry up about a pound of ground beef with onions and mix in with the beans
3. mix in brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar to taste (like barbeque flavor) a little mustard can go in here oh and some worchestershire sauce
4: put in casserole and put strips of bacon over it....bake till bubbly...
It tastes best if you can let it cool and then re-heat!

Sounds great, thanks for the recipe. I will have to give it a shot at a bbq this summer.
The steak was great---even though it was thundering all aroumd us--no rain as of yet! Hubbie is a mood, again, but oh well--full tummies and all is done! Time to relax and enjoy our evening.

Well, I have chicken legs and thigh pieces in the convection oven at this very moment. I used Bells Seasoning plus salt and pepper and a little garlic powder. They smell wonderful. I also made RICE and some sage/bread stuffing and gravy. I am thinking I should go peel and cut up a few carrots to go with it. Yours is more gormet....but since it is after 8 pm we are both hungry and mine will go just right.
Trader Joes Chicken Tamales!!!! And Iced coffee. I need a vegetable!!
