The pot roast didn't get made yesterday---hubbie felt it would be nice to cook it today so it would make the house smell good while it cooked and it's suppose to rain--good idea. So he BBQed shrimp and we had french fries along with that--yummy!! Finally got to pull out the good ole barbie!! Finished framing in my rose garden and putting bark around it and I am pleased at how it looks. Friggin a lot of work. Now today I will attempt to finish the front where I planted the 200 bulbs with the framing and bark---yeah right!!

Well folks, looks like we have sold the house!! I don't know how I feel right now. It's been on the market since last Sept. Should close in Mid June if all
goes well.( inspection, appraisal, etc.) Lots to do! ( then I have to deal with my feelings of guilt about leaving my father here) He is getting ready to market his house now. Will have tons to do at the house in Everett also.
We just put on a new roof but the interior has issues. I guess it's one step
at a time......... Biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Pacific Northwest here we
come!!!!!

Daytripper-Congratulations so happy for you. We're starting your "journey" in RE.Just told DH i want to price aggressively as I want/need out!!!

Thankfully shopped yesterday as we are so snowed in today-can't open any door as the drifts are over a foot and a half. Roads closed, even parts of the Interstate.

Wow Lacey. Weather sounds terrible! And it's the end of April! What is going on over there? You need to have a serious talk with Mr. Weatherman. That's all I can say.

Daytripper... YAYYYYYYYYY. Congratulations. I do hope the rest of the process goes well for you.

What's for dinner tonight? I dunno. I have a full day of errands to do outside so might just be Taco Bell.

Wow Lacey. I can't believe you are still getting snow! You must be going crazy waiting for it to end already. I sympathize although our spring has gotten off to a terrific start. Good luck with the house sale.

I ran pistachio nuts through the food processor last night along with some parmesan cheese croutons to bread up some chicken tenders i'll deep fry and put over salad tonight. Just thought I'd eat light and maybe get into something heavier on my day off.

Dinner will be just a salad. I live in a very ethnically diverse area, lunch was shrimp fritters at a Portuguese bakery in a nearby town. Dessert was something I believe they call 'natas', flaky pastry cups filled with a baked, eggy custard, I just call them dee-lish-us
