Cyn listen to our smart and wonderful Uncle Batz. I understand your concern for your son (and daughter). We all worry about our kids-no matter what their age or status in life. But like you said-we've been there, done that, etc.

The biggest mistake I ever made was this move-I researched but not enough and listened to my s-i-l who it turned embellished (I call it lying) everything she told me about costs, taxes, etc.

Stop worrying dear friend and just look ahead!!!

Tonight it's spaghetti w/meatballs again.

It's quick and easy and since I have to be up early tomorrow morning to work, I don't want to be cooking a large dinner at 11pm when my husband gets home.

afternoon all, tonight i think I am going to do pork chops on the grill along with a piece of chicken for my hubby. Lots of drama going on with the kids, the tax man, hospital bills coming in. It seems like you just solve one thing and something else crops up. Ugh!!! So I think lots of amaretto sours tonight as well LOL.

Awwww....Cyn...sending some Hugs your way my friend.....
It is hard to not worry about our kids. Things have a way of working themselves out.

Tonight I am in the process of making Shrimp Scampi for hubby.....this can be thrown together so easily.

Amaretto Sour recipe
1 1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 - 2 splashes sweet and sour mix

Pour the amaretto liqueur into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add a splash or two of sweet and sour mix, and shake well. Strain or pour into an old-fashioned glass, garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange, and serve.

It's been a long, long time since I've had one of those. I got the recipe off of google. I had no idea how to make this.
