I am off in a minute, to the grocery store. Ick, I do not like groc. shopping, but it has got to get done, right?
I am not sure about dinner. We bought a huge pork loin at Sams Club yesterday, so we may cut that up and roast it. I am wondering about the brine thing and all the great rub recipes going around here may do the trick!
tankratt you get some kind of a prize for an original and creative supper! Make that the "elstontonian award for excellence" or commonly called the tony award.
That really is a heck of an award, coming from Elston! I think we should have a weekly or monthly "Elstonian" award!!! Whatcha think???

OH my................me too!!!!!
I may make a tuna pie for dinner tonight. I will post the recipe in the "Me oh my, I love Pie" thread if anyone is interested. I found it on-line, but added a few things and deleted others until it suited me!
Happy weekend all.....it has been full of yard work and basketball for us. More of the same today. I just made up a big pasta salad with diced cucumber, green bell pepper, tomatoes, green onion, red onion, blanched spinach, and tri-color pasta. Tossed in a oil and vineagar dressing and is marinating in the fridge. Will add some cheese later. We'll have with pork ribs.....which are already cooking low and slow as we speak.
Last night we had wings and a blue cheese burger (split them at a bar watching basketball, of course!!)
Off to make some breakfast burritos and watch the game.
Was going to do chicken marsala but not in the mood for that today, maybe tomorrow. I'm thinking tonight meatloaf but that might change again. Maybe I really don't feel like cooking today.
Have a great Sunday!
