I don't know what got into me....but I just removed all the shelves from my refrigerator and washed it all down....including down below the freezer section where some ice cream had dripped and stray ice cubes had fallen (oh I forgot to pull out the vegetable crisper...that awaits me)

.....in the freezer I found a small glad bag of meat balls, one half breast of chicken and 3 Italian sausage and just a little bit of shaved steak...(not enough for a sandwich even)....I think this calls for my own "pot of gravy" like kelsie is doing.....when I get into the vegetable crisper...I know I will find a green pepper in there and there is a half onion in a container......Supper is coming all together...... Pasta and "red gravy".

Jaxson... sending out prayers for your little one.... hope all is well... you must be at least heading out if not there by now...Thinking of you.... let us know how it goes....hugs....

BOTH girls are home...... the test results have not come in for Diva and Chatterbox is now starting to cough more and more. I'm a tad annoyed with the Lab.... so they are couch potatoes today watching tv and eating junk.... I am not to worried about the junk... it is just crackers and a couple of cookies my mom sent over- as junkie as I get here. But it is making them happy... I am feeling tired myself so I have plopped myself right here next to 'em and decided to rest up for the afternoon....

Tonight.... left over Sweedish Meatballs from MIL... I don't have to cook and the kids will eat it. I will just have a salad and a Luna probably....nothing too complicated or requires a lot of thought. I really am tired. Hope I am not catching this.... fingers crossed...knock on wood... tossing salt over the shoulder...

Elston...sounds like your fridge cleaning turned out to be quite successful!!! Sounds like a great meal tonight!!!! And resourcful! Enjoy......

Jaxson -- hope the surgery goes well. You're probably on your way. About the breakfast burritos, yesterday I just used up what was in the fridge. Had some leftover sausage from Friday's pizza, and heated that up with some sliced mushrooms, red onion, scallions, torn spinach. Cooked til they were tender and then scrambled in some eggs.

Nuked a tortilla with a slice of swiss for 30 seconds. Put the filling in it, rolled it up, and topped with salsa. Yummy!!

Not sure what is for dinner tonight. Maybe fish fillets and salad and oven fries. Not feeling inspired at the moment. My back is killing me from yesterdays yard work and I am being lazy.

Happy Monday foodies

Hope you all had a great weekend.
Today I made a big pot of beef vegetable barley soup and some chicken salad so I am guessing it will be soup and chicken salad wraps for dinner.
I have to go bak on some posts to see what you are all cooking.

Jaxson............will be thinking good thoughts. I hear you on that deviated septum thing.

Good afternoon all.........

Jaxson - good thoughts coming your way.

Lacey - Run.... run real fast away from the germs

SKBS - Take care of yourself and of course the girls.

Haven't decided what's for dinner tonight. I just know some kind of chicken.

I tried to think of something but in my state of being tanked on peanut butter and strawberry jam most of the flakes have gone to sleep already. I need to have a little help with this from me wife.
