After having a pork chop at lunch I'm not sure I want to grill the pork roast tonight. It is hot. I think it is a good night for the BLT salad....Nice and cool and tasty. I can lace mine with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese and all it a feast.

Cyn please hang tough my friend. There is now way Sadie would want you to smoke over her....She needs you healthy too...

Cyn, you're a strong willed chick... you don't need no stinkin' cigarettes to comfort you. We're here to lean on and commiserate with... much better return than a stinky ol' butt.

Dinner tonight is giong to be pork ribs with pineapple and sauerkraut....

Country Ribs With Pineapple And Sauerkraut:

1 20 oz. can sliced pineapple, drained
1 16 oz. bag or can sauerkraut, drained
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
4 tsp. prepared mustard
1 small onion, grated
3 lbs. pork loin country style ribs

1. Reserve 3 pineapple slices for garnish; chop remaining pineapple. In 3 qt. casserole, combine all ingredients except the pork and 3 sliced pineapple slices.

2. Place pork ribs in casserole mixture, being sure to bury them in and throughout the mix.

3. Bake casserole, uncovered in 350° oven 1 1/4 hours or until ribs are tender. Skim off fat. Arrange reserved slices of pineapple slices on top of casserole.

Enjoy! Happy Friday the 13th everyone!

I am popping back in.so far the cooking is going good
I have 1/2 my baking done, made 3 pans of lasagna, marinated 15 lbs of chicken wings made, the bow tie pasta with gorgonzola (compliments to kshe on this recipe). Monica's apricot nector lemon cake is in my oven and smells really good so thank you for that.
I still have to make the eggplant....I have 150 meatballs sitting in sauce, the kielbasa needs to be cut and put in a BBQsauce and I still have to do the sausages with onions peppers and mushrooms and the ham..

Anyone drooling yet?????? I need someone to test taste it for me.

See how by sharing all your recipes we can all use them so I thank you for the great ideas......
